So I am packed.. took a super nap... and then tonight i am hopefully going to see dave to say good bye and maybe kurt...  Then over to Heidi's for sleep and breakfast and then off to the airport to leave on a 11 something flight to Seattle, then to Tokyo, then i think straight to Manila... though not totally sure about if there is anything inbetween those..... but hey will be in the Philipines in a day or two... so its rather exciting.

Sent out an email to everyone I had emails to...

Hello,

I just wanted to let everyone know I leave tomorrow (July 7th) at 11 or so for the 15+ hour long flight to the Philippines. During that flight we are having to prepare teachings and testimonies. Once we get to the islands we (four students, and one leader) will be spending a few days on a YWAM (youth with a mission) base near Manila, relaxing a bit, and hopefully getting past our jet-lag. Our leader will be teaching the School of Biblical Studies students there. Then from there we get to take a flight down to the island of Bohol to start our work. The first day there one of the girls going with me will be teaching a youth group, and then from then on the five of us will be taking turned teaching, preaching, and sharing with the churches around that island. We will be teaching pastors other ways of studying the Bible, preaching to churches, and teaching Bible studies. Along with all of that we will likely be doing some building as well, which is what I am looking forward to. From looking at weather forecasts it looks like rain is a very likely chance, and the temperatures are in the 80s and 90s. We will be in the area from  July 7th until August 2nd. While we are there for almost a month, we are hoping that we will all have good health, plenty of energy, courage, patience, and flexibility. We are also hoping for some awesome stories and memories.

The other half of my class ventured off to Ecuador for a month to do about the same as my group. It was hard seeing them go, but we should all see each other in a month.

Please keep us (Eric [leader], Devin, Jenner, Ethan, and I) in your thoughts and prayers.

I plan if we get any chance to be around internet send out some update emails as time progresses in the Philippines to let people know some of the highlights and what is going on.

Thank you.

I hope everyone is doing well.
